About The Role
This role is part of our consulting team, where your internal title will be Consultant, primarily focusing on data analytics across various client engagements. As a Data Analytics Consultant, you are an early-to-mid career data professional with a solid foundation in analysis and a strong desire to develop both your technical and consulting skills. You will leverage your analytics expertise to support the delivery of digital products by providing insights through analytics and reporting solutions that enable organizations to better understand their data and make informed decisions. In addition to your core analytics responsibilities, you will gain exposure to broader digital consulting areas, including digital product development, digital transformation, and user experience (UX/CX). Your role involves understanding how data influences product decisions, enhances customer experiences, and supports overall business strategies. You will collaborate closely with senior analysts, data scientists, engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders across diverse client projects. With guidance and mentorship, you will contribute to analytics initiatives such as dashboard creation, exploratory data analysis, KPI tracking, and data quality validation, while also developing broader consulting skills related to project management, user experience, and design thinking. Your curiosity, attention to detail, and motivation to improve your analytical and consulting capabilities will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Support client and internal teams in understanding business questions and translating them into clear analytical requirements.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights under the guidance of senior team members.
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to monitor key metrics and performance indicators.
- Assist in documenting metrics, definitions, and analytics processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other analysts to support data modeling and reporting layers.
- Communicate insights effectively through visualizations, summaries, and presentations tailored to various stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting, improve data quality, and optimize analytical workflows.
- Support data governance, privacy, and security best practices, ensuring compliance across projects.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives and product development efforts.
- Continuously develop your technical skills and stay updated on industry best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or analytics-focused role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Bash scripting.
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Foundational understanding of data modeling, data governance, and analytics best practices.
- Experience defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and causal analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Interest in learning about data privacy, security, and governance standards.
