About The Role
The Finance Data Analyst role is integral to supporting our finance operations teams by delivering insightful business solutions through modern reporting software platforms. This position involves capturing, shaping, and presenting complex data in visually compelling dashboards and table formats that are easy to understand. The role primarily focuses on enhancing Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes, contributing to projects aimed at optimizing key finance business workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, technical proficiency in data visualization tools, and the ability to communicate complex insights effectively to business stakeholders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop technical skills and gain exposure to innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, and enterprise service management platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
- Zero to one year of applied project experience in a relevant setting
- Zero to one year of experience creating dashboards for analysis in a business environment
- Proficiency with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Familiarity with SQL, MS-Access, Snowflake, or other database management systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business language
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Engage with business leaders to understand their requirements, prioritize tasks, and plan project timelines effectively
- Integrate and interpret data from multiple source systems to create standardized formats and measurements
- Design and develop dashboards that summarize key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business needs
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making processes
- Develop a deep understanding of emerging technologies such as agentic AI, RPA, and ServiceNow to enhance business processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives
- Perform ad hoc data analysis and reporting as required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance and operational teams
