Integration & Test Engineer (Radar Systems)
This job requires an active security clearance which can only be obtained with US Citizenship. Permanent residents/green card holders are NOT eligible.
TactWare is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to support high-impact defense programs focused on Aegis, Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), and advanced air defense radar systems. This role emphasizes system integration, test execution, and performance validation in complex environments.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting multiple radar programs, contributing to both system-level testing and ongoing integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integration and system test procedures
- Conduct system test dry runs and support formal test execution
- Initiate, track, and resolve System Problem Reports (SPRs)
- Develop and maintain desktop regression test procedures and tools
- Document test procedures, results, and artifacts in accordance with SDRL requirements
- Support requirements verification, traceability, and reporting
- Participate in engineering technical reviews
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship (REQUIRED)
- - Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Permanent residents and green card holders are not eligible
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related discipline
- 1–10 years of experience in integration and test engineering (DoD experience preferred)
- Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures
- Experience with test automation or scripting (C++, MATLAB, or Python)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating radar subsystems and software
- Familiarity with Electronic Protection (EP)
- Knowledge of radar systems and subsystems
- Experience with requirements tools such as DOORS, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience performing root cause analysis
- Experience working on geographically distributed teams
- Familiarity with AESA HWIL testing
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Wireshark)
