
Technical Writer - Canada Summer Jobs Program
Incorporated Ministries in The Office of the Moderator & General Secretary of The United Church of Canada is seeking an individual to fill the role of Technical Writer as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program for 2026. This is a 6-week program at 30 hours per week with an anticipated start date of June 15, 2026.
This position involves the finalizing of user manuals and guidelines for various applications and positions within the National Incorporation Services. Included will be a technical guide for the use of the Incorporation Files SharePoint library, Board Governance Best Practices, Administrator's User Guide, Job Description Task List
### Qualifications
- Youth between the ages of 18 to 30 are eligible to apply for this position
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- Post secondary education
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written ability, excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office – ability to work with computers and basic platforms such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge and basic understanding of the United Church is an asset

### Compensation
Salary will be at $22.22 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.
