Role Summary:
The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer is primarily responsible for testing TireHub’s Enterprise applications, integrations and automated transaction process throughout the development lifecycle. This role includes functional testing, automation testing to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team, API testing, and logging/telemetry reviews for comprehensive monitoring. The engineer will also conduct SQL-based data validation and contribute to test environment setup and maintenance.
This role will report to the Quality Assurance Lead.

Role Specifics
- Defines, develops, implements, and execute reusable, flexible, accurate, and well-documented testing artifacts. This includes test cases, specifications, tools, and technical documentation based on defined workflows, use cases, and business requirements.
- Performs API testing to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Conducts thorough logging and telemetry reviews to detect anomalies and ensure robust application monitoring.
- Executes complex SQL queries for data verification and analysis during testing.
- Assists in managing and maintaining the QA environment and test equipment, including making configuration changes as necessary for product release.
- Coordinates with Product Development and/or Technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Contributes to automation initiatives, improving test coverage and reliability while reducing manual testing efforts.
- Continuously update knowledge of methodologies, products, and tools to ensure that quality assurance processes follow best practices, with a focus on innovation and adoption of new technologies.

- Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual or computer-based learning modules as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required; Master’s in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, ideally within a data/analytics or business intelligence environment.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar BA certification preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency with JIRA for Project management and issue tracking.
- Familiarity with BPMN workflows to model, visualize, and communicate business processes.
- Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies, backlog grooming, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Basic SQL skills and experience working with databases.
- Ability to engage and influence across departments while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Strong experience in gathering requirements, creating clear documentation, managing stakeholders, and providing effective project leadership.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exposure to data tools (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, etc.).
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems relevant to business operations.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with Confluence or similar documentation platforms.
Working Conditions:
- This is a fast-paced and dynamic operating environment.
- Majority of time is spent sitting, constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. There may be occasions to move or lift light articles.
- Must be able to work flexible hours during routinely critical times to support the department.
- This role is based in our headquarters office in Dunwoody, GA and requires a strong in-person presence.
- Must be able to travel up to 10%.
