We’re now expanding into Alberta and looking for a high-performance business development professional to build this region from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
Prospect and develop new business across Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton, surrounding industrial regions)
Sell:
- 3D scanning systems (Scanology lineup)
- Dimensional inspection services
- ISO 17025 calibration services
- Book and run product demos (with support from our technical team)
- Build relationships with manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, and fabrication companies
- Manage full sales cycle: lead generation → demo → quote → close
- Maintain a strong pipeline and hit aggressive growth targets
What We’re Looking For
- Previous
metrology experience is required
(portable arms, laser trackers, 3D scanning, CMMs, etc.)
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development (technical or industrial sales preferred)
- Hunter mentality – you are comfortable with cold outreach and rejection
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and own a territory
- Willingness to travel within Alberta
- What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- Build a qualified pipeline within first 60–90 days
- Close initial service and/or system deals within first 4–6 months
- Establish TMC as a recognized player in Alberta’s manufacturing ecosystem
