We are looking for a proactive and highly skilled
Senior Network Engineer
to lead the operational health and stability of our corporate network infrastructure. This is a high-impact role requiring a professional who thrives in a fast-paced enterprise environment and is committed to technical excellence.
As a core member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex networking systems. This role demands a "Subject Matter Expert" mindset—someone eager to master new technologies while maintaining a high level of urgency regarding system uptime and performance.
Workspace Status & Availability

This position is
100% on-site in Dallas, TX, from the first day of employment

- On-Call Commitment:
The successful candidate will participate in a
24/7/365 on-call rotation
to support critical outages and scheduled after-hours maintenance.
Credential Requirements
- Preferred Certification:
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
or an equivalent senior-level professional certification is highly desired.
- Secondary Certifications:
CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or vendor-specific certifications (e.g., PCNSE, F5-CA) are considered a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Performance
- Manage and support a multi-vendor environment including high-speed routing, switching, load balancing, and WAN optimization.
- Proactively monitor network conditions in real-time, utilizing tools like
SolarWinds
to identify "hot spots" and prevent outages.
- Analyze system performance metrics regularly and generate reports to drive continuous infrastructure improvements.
Security & Risk Mitigation
- Direct the configuration, validation, and lifecycle management of enterprise firewall environments (multi-context).
- Lead vulnerability remediation efforts through critical code updates and strategic configuration hardening.
- Identify single points of failure within the architecture and design resilient solutions to mitigate business risk.
Infrastructure Maintenance & Documentation
- Maintain and upgrade core hardware including wireless controllers, access points, and load balancers.
- Author and update exhaustive documentation, technical standards, and procedural guidelines for data and voice environments.
- Provide high-level knowledge transfer to cross-functional IT departments to ensure a unified approach to network health.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
5+ years of hands-on expertise in enterprise-level network technologies.
- Network Topologies:
Deep experience managing multi-datacenter and multi-site environments using
SD-WAN
and point-to-point WAN circuits.
- Protocol Proficiency:
Expert-level command of
BGP, OSPF, QoS, HSRP, and GLBP
.
- Technical Skills:
\* Strong mastery of
Cisco CLI
and firewall management (VPNs, object groups, and policy orchestration).
- Experience with load balancers and wireless infrastructure management.
- Education:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
- Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to translate complex technical data for non-IT stakeholders.
