Position Description: Manage talent acquisition lifecycle for job requisitions for experienced hires within local business center offices.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage talent acquisition lifecycle job requisitions for experienced hires within local business center offices; post and manage requisitions on applicant tracking system (ATS) and social media platforms, identify and screen qualified applicants to identify “best fit”, share candidate short list with hiring managers, schedule interviews, and create offer letters.
  • Support internal mobility process and review Experienced Tracking System (ETS) content to facilitate mobility opportunities for staff company wide. Partner with local Human Resources (HR)/Operations teams and other business centers to identify and expedite internal candidates and transfers.
  • Participate in defining Talent Acquisition (TA) project goals and decision making for local HR teams, promote efficiency and consistency of TA practices, and ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws, and company policies.
  • Effectively collaborate with hiring managers to define talent needs and job requirements to post and implement recruiting activities to fill requisitions in timely manner.
  • Develop, implement, and share best practices methods for external social media, data mining, and using LinkedIn Recruiter to target top candidates.
  • Proactively build and maintain pipeline of qualified talent and leverage multiple acquisition resources and sourcing techniques. Identify top passive candidates in market and foster relationships as prospective hires.
  • Promote company culture, values, and contribute new approaches, policies, and procedures to support continuous improvement in overall services of TA team.
  • Contribute recommendations to enhance TA programs to successfully attract and identify diverse applicant talent pools.
  • Build relationships and strong partnerships with and provide high level of customer service to HR and Operations teams, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to provide guidance and communication regarding TA best practices and activities.
  • Partner with local TA, HR, and Operations teams within and across Business Centers to expedite internal employee mobility and transfers and facilitate candidate sharing/networking.
  • Negotiate compensation packages in coordination with local HR and Operations teams to enable smooth, efficient, cost effective hires, travel assignments, and/or relocations.
  • Utilize ETS to data mine and identify potential internal candidates based on capability, mobility, and availability.
  • Contribute new ideas to support continuous improvement in overall effectiveness of local TA team.
  • Develop new strategies and programs for specific acquisition challenges, and work in conjunction with local leaders, hiring managers, HR, and Marketing teams to promote Turner as “Employer of Choice” in talent acquisition process.
  • Provide talent acquisition training to internal clients to ensure consistency of related programs and activities.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited degree program in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, with 7 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Construction or construction-related industries or experience with mid-size (10,000+ employees) organization, preferred
- Professional in Human Resources® (HRCI PHR®) or Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM CP®) certification, desired but not required
- Good understanding of business and construction operations and acumen
- Knowledge of Human Resources Talent Acquisition policies, operations, and processes
- Familiar with behavioral interviewing and other applicant assessment techniques
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other related social media platforms, preferred
- High energy self-starter with ability to prioritize competing demands
- Professional verbal and written business communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, active listening skills, and follow-up practices
- Effectively interact and communicate across employee levels, management, and applicants/candidates
- High degree of integrity, maintain confidential information, and exercise discretion
- Familiar with continuous improvement methods and tools
- Embrace change and quick learner to adopt process and technology enhancements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications with advanced Excel skills, and skilled in Talent Acquisition related applications
