Role summary
We are seeking an intense, tightly-knit team member for a Full Stack Engineering Internship in San Francisco, focusing on security, reliability, and performance. You will work across our entire stack (TypeScript, Supabase, Next.js, Vercel, Effect) on topics including concurrent systems, LLM engineering, RAG, database optimization, CI/CD, and frontend development. This role involves direct customer engagement and building future-proof solutions. The bar for interns is very high, with a focus on exceptional talent.
We are an intense, tightly-knit team based in Lower Haight, San Francisco. Our customers range from fast-growing startups to established enterprise companies like Amplitude and Vercel, and we obsess in listening to each of them and helping them succeed. Our development pillars are security, reliability and performance, combined with pragmatism to always find working solutions and be ultra-responsive to customer feedback and requests. Working both at the infrastructure and product level, we strive to build correct, future-proof solutions with great taste.
As an engineer intern, you will be directly engaging with our customers and will be working with all of our stack, which is currently: TypeScript, Supabase, Next.js, Vercel, and Effect. Topics will include: concurrent systems, modular service infrastructure, text processing, RAG, database optimization, LLM engineering, logging and telemetry, CI/CD, integrations with third-party systems, frontend.
Our previous interns were Ethan Niser (https://x.com/ethanniser) and Corey Mostero (Cal Hacks tech lead) and our current intern is Ugo Balducci (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppc39UVOZHY) so the bar is very high. 😀
