Role summary

We are seeking a part-time, remote Full-Stack Engineer to contribute to a modular business system platform. This role involves designing and building backend APIs, database structures, and implementing core modules for client management, scheduling, payments, and user access. The ideal candidate will focus on clean structure, maintainability, and long-term scalability, with experience in real-world application development and system thinking. Responsibilities include ensuring code quality, testing, system stability, and collaborating on technical decisions. Experience with SaaS, scheduling, or payment integrations is a plus.

We’re building a modular business system that combines core operational tools into a clean, scalable platform.

This includes client management (CRM), appointment scheduling, payments, role-based access (admin/employee), and an internal dashboard. The goal is to create a reliable, well-structured system that can evolve over time — not a one-off project.

We’re looking for a strong full-stack engineer who can contribute to both backend architecture and frontend implementation, with a focus on clean structure, maintainability, and long-term scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build backend APIs and database structure
  • Implement authentication and role-based access control
  • Develop core modules (clients, scheduling, payments, dashboard)
  • Integrate third-party services (e.g. Stripe, email)
  • Ensure code quality, testing, and overall system stability
  • Collaborate on technical decisions and system structure

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with full-stack development
  • Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and authentication systems
  • Ability to structure applications cleanly and logically
  • Experience building real-world applications (not just small projects)
  • Good communication and ability to explain technical decisions

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SaaS products
  • Experience with scheduling systems or booking logic
  • Experience with payment integrations (Stripe or similar)
  • Familiarity with scalable system design

Engagement:

  • Part-time (10–20 hours/week to start)
  • Remote
  • Potential to scale based on progress

Important:

This role requires someone who can think in systems, not just execute isolated tasks. You should be comfortable making decisions and contributing to the overall structure of the application.

To apply, please include:

  • A short introduction
  • 1–2 relevant projects you’ve worked on (with your role explained)
  • Your hourly rate
