Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead technical direction across multiple projects implementing configurator logic design automation and make a meaningful impact on engineering excellence. You will act as the technical lead for all activities within your assignments, partnering closely with Engineering and R&D teams across multiple location to ensure tools and processes are executed accurately and efficiently. You will also collaborate with stakeholders, guiding discussions, resolving challenges, and driving alignment toward shared goals.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in North America. Main stakeholders are Engineering, R&D, and Manufacturing.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Leading, planning, organizing, and executing multiple small and large projects simultaneously while meeting target delivery dates and quality standards.
- Developing user requirements, specifications, and system structures to implement new product offerings for various engineering applications, including, but not limited to, Empower, Rulestream (Product Configurator), ePLAN(ECAD), GPLM, and/or SAP.
- Collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, IT, and SAP team members to identify potential project risks and provide timely, effective technical tool and process solutions.
- Evaluating cost versus benefit to justify and prioritize engineering tool and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications For The Role
- You are highly skilled in problem solving and logical thinking, with 5+ years of experience in Project Engineering with experience in electrical distribution equipment and rules-based automation
- You have hands-on experience with MS Office, Empower, Rulestream, ePLAN, GPLM, and/or SAP. (Product configurators such as Empower and Rulestream and ECAD programs such as Eplan)
- You possess strong knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment (Switchgear, Motor Control Centers).
- You have a working knowledge of SQL, database management, Visual Basic (VBA and VB.NET), C#, and other relevant software tools.
- You are a self-starter who can work independently while also thriving in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- You are at ease communicating in English.

US only\* While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $92 500 and $171 500 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
