Role summary

Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is seeking an AI Solutions Strategist to deploy AI solutions for confidential federal missions. This role focuses on orchestrating, integrating, and operationalizing AI using Palantir Foundry and AIP, turning data into actionable products and shipping secure, reliable applications. Responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle from use case discovery to scaled deployment, implementing production rigor, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry + AIP in real customer settings, preferably in regulated environments. Familiarity with managed AI platforms, LLM evaluation, prompt design, RAG/agent workflows, containerization, and observability is preferred. Strong Python and SQL skills are required.

Role Overview

You’ll work sidebyside with federal mission owners from field operations and supply chains to benefits delivery and enterprise decision support turning vision into reality with Palantir Foundry + AIP. This role focuses on orchestrating, integrating, and operationalizing AI (no model training required): you’ll leverage managed platforms and services to ship secure, reliable, and scalable applications fast. You’ll own the path from usecase discovery → prototype → scaled deployment, operating under realworld constraints and partnering across product, engineering, and domain teams.

What You’ll Do (Day to Day)

Mission partnership & delivery: Embed with client teams to conceive, architect, build, and maintain solutions that meet mission needs under operational constraints.

Datatodecision flow: Use Foundry (e.g., ontologies, pipelines, transformations, operational workflows) to turn disparate data into actionable products; move from use case → prototype → production at mission speed.

Operationalize AIP: Deploy agentic workflows, retrievalaugmented patterns, and prompt/policy strategies via AIP; implement guardrails, fallbacks, and recovery for reliability without training foundation models.

Production rigor: Instrument metrics/logs/traces, establish runbooks and SLOs, lead postmortems, and build auditready guardrails for safety and compliance.

Secure & compliant by design: Respect confidentiality and integrate with federalgrade controls (privacy, access, auditability); practice Zero Trust concepts.

Rapid iteration, real outcomes: Prototype quickly, ship productiongrade features, and iterate based on user feedback and measurable mission impact.

Crossfunctional collaboration: Partner with engineers, PMs, analysts, and operators to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and ship code that sticks.

Forwarddeployed presence: Travel as needed to embed onsite, drive adoption, and ensure outcomes in operational environments.

What you won’t do: Train or invent new foundation models; deliver academic research. Your focus is making bestinclass platforms and models work flawlessly in production.

You'll Thrive Here If You Have

Hands-on experience deploying solutions with Palantir Foundry + AIP in real customer settings.

Proven track record solutioning and shipping products for clients ideally in public sector or similarly regulated environments.

Willingness to travel for client implementation work (frequency varies by program).

U.S. Citizen

Nice to Have

Active government security clearance.

Familiarity with managed AI platforms/services (e.g., AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Amazon Kendra).

Experience with LLM selection/evaluation, prompt design, and RAG/agent workflows (no model training required).

Experience integrating toolusing agents to call APIs and access external data sources.

Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware) and scripting/automation (Linux Bash, PowerShell).

Background in observability, guardrails, compliancebydesign, and operating in regulated/secure environments.

Demonstrated client success obsession, analytical/system thinking, and a record of measurable impact

Strong coding / scripting with Python, TypeScript, SQL (R a plus); comfortable working over large, messy datasets.

Ability to operate autonomously, own outcomes, and drive clarity across diverse stakeholders.

Excellent communication with technical and nontechnical partners; comfortable embedding onsite with client teams.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
