Role summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software Engineer to ensure application release deliverables meet required standards and manage project requirements and service request interdependencies for release delivery and integrity. This role involves collaboration across development and implementation teams, potentially supporting storage and code testing processes and tools. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall professional experience, with at least 2 years in software development using languages like C#/.NET/Python/Java/C++/C, experience with distributed programming models, and creating/maintaining online services. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and pipeline building is also necessary. On-call support is required. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of networking, distributed systems, SDN, OpenFlow, TCP/IP, BGP, ANYCAST, IS-IS, data structures, algorithms, asynchronous architectures, and concurrency.

Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking Software Engineer who will ensure that application release deliverables adhere to required standards, managing project requirements and service request interdependencies to ensure release delivery and integrity. This role requires working with individuals and teams from development through implementation across the delivery or engineering organizations and may support processes and tools associated with storage and code testing.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience in developing with C#/.NET/Python/Java/C++ OR C
  • Experience with distributed programming models
  • Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, maintaining online services
  • Experience with building pipelines with azure data factory, creating subscriptions and PowerBI
  • Ability to provide on-call support

    • Bonus points if you have:

  • Knowledge of networking and distributed systems
  • Interest or exposure to networking technologies/concepts such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) and OpenFlow.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, BGP, ANYCAST, IS-IS
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, asynchronous architectures and distributed algorithms.
  • Experience in concurrency, multithreading and synchronization.

    As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.     $103,800—$192,300 USD
