Devops Engineer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation in enterprise environments.
• Solid expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proven experience supporting Data Center Exit or on premises to public cloud migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch and ECR.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for AWS environments.
• Working knowledge of GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience supporting Java and .NET application build and deployment pipelines.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications migrating from on premises to AWS.
• Build and operate Kubernetes (EKS) platforms to support containerized and microservices-based applications.
• Implement GitOps-based deployment models to manage application and infrastructure changes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, middleware and database teams during migration and cutover.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for EKS workloads and AWS infrastructure.
• Enforce DevOps and GitOps best practices including version control, release management and rollback strategies.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, container and infrastructure issues during migration and steady-state operations.
Cloud Experience Needed
• 7+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years working as a DevOps engineer on AWS.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes (EKS) clusters in production environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS-native services for automation, monitoring and container security.
• Experience supporting hybrid CI/CD and GitOps models during on premises to cloud transitions.
• Practical exposure to DevSecOps practices and IAM integration is preferred.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation in large migration programs.
• Experience working in mission-critical, enterprise-scale Data Center Exit initiatives.
• AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or DevOps-related certifications are preferred.
