Role summary
This is a 12-month contract position for a Senior Data Analyst in Alpharetta, GA. The role requires onsite work and involves collaborating with business stakeholders to define data requirements, conduct data quality assessments, and perform root cause analysis. The analyst will support data migration and integration projects within an Agile environment, acting as a liaison between business and engineering teams. Key responsibilities include translating business needs into technical requirements, creating documentation like user stories and process flows, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT). The position offers an hourly pay rate between $50.00 and $55.00.

Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to develop and maintain data mapping documentation
- Conduct data quality assessments and identify inconsistencies
- Perform root cause analysis on any data issues
- Support data migration and integration projects
- Operate in an Agile product development environment, manage stakeholder requests with clear prioritization, translate complex business needs into technical requirements, and applying a design thinking approach to deliver user-centric, iterative solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Act as a liaison between business and engineering teams to ensure alignment on solution design, delivery timelines, and business outcomes
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, contributing to iterative development cycles
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria to support development and testing
- Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps, while proactively integrating testing and validation early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects, and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with QA and development teams
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
