Role summary
ASSYST is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead a DoD IT support program. The role involves managing the full contract lifecycle, serving as the primary government liaison, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities include developing and executing the Project Management Plan, overseeing help desk operations, monitoring SLAs, managing resources and schedules, and ensuring timely contract deliverables. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 10+ years in Project Management, 5+ years managing IT support contracts, familiarity with help desk operations, and deep knowledge of DoD policies. U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
ASSYST is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to oversee all aspects of contract performance for a DoD IT support program . The PM will serve as the primary point of contact for the Government, ensuring effective execution of contract requirements, resource management, and delivery of high-quality services.
This position is contingent upon contract award
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of contract performance, serving as the primary liaison for the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Government stakeholders.
- Lead the development and execution of the Project Management Plan (PMP) and comprehensive Transition Plans.
- Oversee help desk operations and IT support environments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Rigorously monitor and ensure compliance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Manage project resources and schedules; conduct regular performance reviews and proactive risk management assessments.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all contract deliverables and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience).
- 10+ years of dedicated Project Management experience.
- 5+ years of experience specifically managing IT support contracts.
- Proven background in Help Desk operations and complex IT support environments.
- Deep familiarity with DoD and/or Army policies and procedures.
