Role summary

Safran Aircraft Engines Suzhou is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage non-conformity treatment, conduct quality investigations, and drive continuous improvement on the manufacturing line. This role involves analyzing root causes of defects, setting up quality indicators, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The engineer will also validate process changes, perform workshop audits, and provide operator training. Key responsibilities include cross-departmental coordination and serving as a liaison with SafranAE France. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, knowledge of mechanics and materials, and proficiency in quality improvement tools like Lean and 6 Sigma.

Descriptif mission
Non-conformity treatment : • Treat quality non-conformity events in the manufacturing line • Approve and do sanction of rework sheet • Animate regularly the communication around the non-conformity • Ensure the interface between SafranAE Suzhou and engineering / quality in SafranAE in France Quality investigation, non-quality analyze and quality improvement : • Analyze of the root causes of scrap and potential scrap, recurrent anomalies, non-quality exported and customer complaint • Set-up and monitor quality indicators necessary to follow the product quality • Contribute to define and follow corrective and preventive actions to improve the quality of the products • Be a driving force in the continuous improvement implementation of the manufacturing line • Pilot quality improvement project DVI (Industrialization validation) : • Validate process changes Audit / Surveillance : • Realization of audits in the workshop • Regularly follow findings' correction actions Operator qualification : • Provide quality awareness training • Realization of operator qualification of manufacturing line Cross-departments interactions : • Coordinate actions with other supporting department such as : Process Product Production Supply chain / planning team • Focal point for external communication with : SAE France Design office SAE France Quality (RAQF) • Responsible for adhering to all HSE required safety procedures in performing daily work activities • Responsible for adhering to all Quality policies and rules required in performing daily work activities • Responsible for fulfill customer's requirement to guarantee good customer's satisfaction • Responsible for adhering to the company policies
• Bachelor degree or above majoring in mechanical engineering or other related • Mechanics and material knowledge • Good at communication, good teamwork, quality and innovation spirit • Competency of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques, including management and planning tools, lean & 6 sigma, quality tools (5 why, 8D, fishbone diagram, etc.), preventive and corrective actions • Six sigma green belt project experience is a plus • Leadership spirit • Good at MS office use • Good oral and written communication skills with English
