About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Motorola Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a diverse portfolio of websites across various brands and platforms. Your primary focus will be on optimizing website performance, ensuring SEO best practices, and delivering engaging user experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and SEO, to implement technical solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend development, CMS management, and website migration projects, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and accessibility standards. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of four years of professional experience in website development and maintenance, particularly within marketing or corporate environments. A solid understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and JavaScript is essential. Proficiency in WordPress is required, including experience with themes, custom post types, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), plugins, and basic PHP troubleshooting. Experience with HubSpot CMS, including themes, templates, and modules, is highly desirable. Candidates should have hands-on experience migrating websites between platforms while maintaining SEO integrity, proper redirects, and accurate tracking. Knowledge of hosting environments, DNS management, SSL certificates, CDNs, caching mechanisms, and version control systems like Git is important. A strong grasp of technical SEO practices, including schema markup, sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals, is necessary. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are critical for success in this role. Nice-to-have skills include experience with HubSpot custom modules, multi-site management, conversion rate optimization tools, modern headless CMS stacks, and CI/CD workflows.
Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve WordPress and HubSpot websites, focusing on creating custom themes, modules, plugins, and implementing security updates.
• Design and develop reusable templates and interactive modules to facilitate scalable development while ensuring brand consistency across platforms.
• Audit existing websites, perform content updates, fix issues, and optimize tracking integrations to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute website migrations and consolidations, ensuring SEO preservation and tracking integrity.
• Ensure all website components adhere to responsiveness, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), performance benchmarks, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Work closely with marketing, design, SEO, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements, estimate efforts, and deliver site enhancements aligned with business goals.
• Implement, test, and validate analytics, pixels, tags, forms, and event tracking across multiple platforms to support data-driven decision making.
• Manage development and production environments, oversee backups, deployment workflows, and document site architecture and technical procedures.
