About The Role
TEKsystems is currently seeking a skilled Data Professional to join their team in a fully remote, contract capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing Snowflake schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. They will develop reliable, high-quality datasets that support Power BI dashboards, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. This role requires a strong background in SQL and Python, with a particular emphasis on healthcare data, to ensure compliance, accuracy, and security of sensitive information. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and optimizing Snowflake schemas.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
- Experience working with healthcare data and understanding of healthcare data standards and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop reliable datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
