About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our team and spearhead the development and scaling of our analytics capabilities. This role is pivotal in centralizing data from multiple sources, designing robust data models, and creating insightful dashboards that inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical expertise, capable of building the foundational data infrastructure while translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, eCommerce, operations, and finance to establish a unified view of performance across retail, direct-to-consumer, subscription, and social channels. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy, particularly within the CPG, retail, or eCommerce sectors. Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation is essential, along with extensive experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in working with large, multi-source datasets, including retail POS systems, DTC platforms, and marketing channels. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights. Experience in building data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics frameworks from the ground up is highly desirable. Effective communication skills are necessary to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Centralize and structure data from diverse sources including retail partners, DTC platforms, subscription services, marketing platforms, and social media channels.
- Design and develop scalable data models and reporting frameworks to support cross-functional analytics initiatives.
- Create and maintain advanced dashboards and visualizations providing real-time insights into sales performance, product launches, customer behavior, and marketing ROI.
- Analyze retail and syndicated data to assess sell-through rates, velocity, and store-level performance metrics.
- Partner with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across retail, eCommerce, and marketing channels.
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights and strategic recommendations to inform product launches, inventory management, and growth initiatives.
- Enhance data accuracy, governance, and accessibility throughout the organization to ensure reliable decision-making.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify new opportunities for leveraging data analytics to drive business growth.
- Assist in building and scaling the analytics infrastructure to support the company's ongoing expansion and innovation efforts.
