About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst Consultant specialized in industrial projects within the energy sector. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining partial remote work with on-site collaboration, to support our ongoing projects across the region. The successful candidate will be instrumental in leveraging data analytics to optimize plant operations, improve process efficiencies, and support decision-making processes. You will work closely with engineers, operators, and management teams to extract actionable insights from complex datasets sourced from PLC, SCADA, and MES systems. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing production KPIs such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), yield, and downtime, ultimately driving operational excellence and sustainability.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A minimum of four years of industrial analytics experience, particularly within manufacturing, production, or operational environments, is essential. Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and visualization platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana is required. A solid foundation in statistical methods, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and forecasting, is necessary to succeed in this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams are also critical. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience with IoT, cloud analytics, big data tools, and familiarity with ERP or PLM systems.
Responsibilities

  • Collect and prepare data by extracting information from PLC, SCADA, and MES systems, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Analyze and model data through descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics, building statistical models to uncover operational insights.
  • Create dashboards, KPIs, and reports to visualize data insights for engineering and operations teams, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by tracking production KPIs such as OEE, yield, and downtime, and contributing to root cause analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and operators to deploy analytics solutions, pilot new tools, and integrate data-driven approaches into daily operations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of analytics processes and ensure compliance with data governance, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
