About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and deployment of advanced AI models, particularly in the realm of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and implement AI solutions that revolutionize healthcare claims processing and workflows. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that leverage state-of-the-art AI technologies within a mature data science environment. The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for bridging the gap between research and production, ensuring that AI models are scalable, reliable, and seamlessly integrated into existing healthcare systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong background in deploying AI/ML models in production environments. Expertise in Generative AI and LLMs is essential, along with hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. Candidates should demonstrate strong engineering skills, capable of optimizing code for production without extensive reliance on engineering support. Technical proficiency in the AWS ecosystem, including AWS Bedrock, Lambda, and Kendra, is required. Additionally, experience managing vector databases and Python programming skills are critical for success in this role. A solid understanding of healthcare claims processing or related domains is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance AI and Machine Learning models, with a focus on Generative AI workflows and LLMs.
  • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, integrating LLMs with vector databases to improve data retrieval and response accuracy.
  • Optimize AI models and codebases for production deployment, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Configure and manage AWS resources such as Bedrock, Lambda, and Kendra to facilitate seamless model deployment and management.
  • Handle technical nuances associated with LLM implementation, including tokenization, vector creation, and model fine-tuning.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and cross-disciplinary teams to design comprehensive AI solutions tailored to healthcare claims environments.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and incorporate best practices into development workflows.
