Senior Cost Accountant
Role summary
The Cost Accountant will manage fixed asset accounting, inventory costing, cycle counting, and operational reporting within a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, inventory valuation, and variance analysis. The role involves maintaining the fixed asset subledger, reconciling costs, calculating reserves, managing count accuracy, analyzing shipping and logistics costs, and participating in month-end/year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing, strong analytical and system skills (including ERP systems like Netsuite and Quickbooks), and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. This is an onsite position in Salem.
