Role Description

We are seeking a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Irving, TX. The role involves designing and executing test plans and cases, identifying and reporting software defects, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The engineer will collaborate closely with development teams, log detailed test results, and work to optimize the QA process to enhance software reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in manual software testing, test case execution, and bug reporting tools
• Experience with quality assurance best practices and an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems, basic SQL knowledge for database validation, and understanding of various testing methodologies
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in testing web applications and knowledge of cross-browser compatibility testing is a plus
• Basic knowledge of automated testing tools is a bonus but not required
