Founding Full-Stack Engineer Intern (AI Product - Attune)

Company Description

Aideal is a small product and innovation studio based in Mississauga focused on building thoughtful digital products and early-stage technology ventures.

One of the products currently in development is Attune, an AI-powered conversation copilot designed for recurring in-person groups. Attune helps communities capture insights from discussions, remember important ideas over time, and build collective understanding across conversations.

We are currently building the first working version of Attune and are looking for a technically curious builder who wants to help bring an early product to life.

Role Description

We are looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer Intern to help build and launch the first working version of Attune, an AI-powered conversation copilot designed for recurring in-person groups.

You will work directly with the founder and contribute to both the product and technical implementation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building real products from scratch and wants exposure to early-stage product development.

Your work will include:

• Building front-end interfaces for the Attune web application

• Developing backend services and APIs

• Integrating AI capabilities for conversation summaries and insight extraction

• Helping structure and store conversation data and group memory

• Deploying and maintaining the application

• Collaborating on product ideas and feature iterations

This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to an early-stage AI product rather than working on isolated internship tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience building web applications (frontend and backend)

• Familiarity with modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Node, or similar

• Comfort working with APIs and integrating third-party services

• Interest in AI-assisted applications (LLM APIs, embeddings, or similar tools)

• Ability to work independently and learn quickly

• Curiosity about building new products from the ground up

Nice to have:

• Experience deploying applications (Vercel, AWS, or similar platforms)

• Experience working on personal or open source projects
