Staff Full Stack Engineer, Reservations and Additional Products
Role summary
The Reservations and Additional Products team at Airbnb is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to own the storage and alteration of core Reservation data, as well as steward the Order Data system, Gift Cards platform, and post-booking purchase flows. This role involves exploring, shaping, and developing new product experiences with cross-functional partners, leading technical investments, and translating prototypes into scalable production code. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in full stack development, strong expertise in Java/Kotlin, and demonstrated experience in backend systems within large-scale service-oriented architectures. Responsibilities include mentorship, driving technical quality, and improving development processes. This is a US Remote Eligible position.

The Community You Will Join:
The Reservations and Additional Products team owns the storage and alteration of core Reservation data that power Airbnb’s Stays, Experiences and Services. In addition, we also steward the Order Data system, Gift Cards platform, and post-booking purchase flows, all of which have the goal of growing the capabilities of the Airbnb e-commerce engine.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
