Software Engineer, Product Backend (8+ YOE)
Role summary
Airtable is seeking a Software Engineer, Product Backend with 8+ years of experience to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing new features for Airtable's platform, focusing on backend systems that enhance scalability, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and deliver innovative solutions, particularly within areas like Enterprise Growth, Monetization, or Platform Interoperability. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of modern web technologies, large-scale web application architecture, and is interested in programming in TypeScript and Rust, with a background in computer science or a related field. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in the office for those based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or Seattle.

As a Full-Stack, Backend engineer at Airtable, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to deeply understand their needs and workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across product management, design, research and data science to create innovative new features that enable our customers to do their best work. You will be responsible for owning and executing the end-to-end implementation of these new features that will contribute to making our toolkit even more powerful and successful.
