Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support our Business Intelligence team and help drive data-informed decision-making across our residential HVAC construction and services operations.

This role will focus on building reliable reporting solutions, partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, and delivering actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and customer outcomes.

The ideal candidate is dependable, curious, and comfortable owning day-to-day reporting projects while collaborating with BI leadership on larger initiatives.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports related to financials, sales performance, operations, and inventory.
  • Meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify goals, and deliver reporting solutions.
  • Analyze business performance trends across operations, finance, sales, service, and inventory.
  • Write SQL queries to support reporting and data validation needs.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of analytics deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement through data-driven insights.
  • Support Ad hoc analytics projects while contributing to long-term BI roadmap efforts.

Working Conditions:

  • Onsite, Columbus, OH
  • Open office environment
  • Domestic travel as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in Power BI
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business questions into data solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Azure, modern BI environments).
  • Python knowledge for advanced analysis or automation.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and scalable reporting practices.
  • Understanding of construction, HVAC, or service-based business operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to meet standard office and jobsite requirements, including occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds) and use of required PPE when needed.
