Duties
- Assist in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, and Express frameworks to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Support the integration of RESTful APIs for data exchange between systems, ensuring secure and efficient communication.
- Contribute to front-end development tasks, enhancing user interfaces with modern web technologies like React and JavaScript.
- Collaborate on backend application development utilizing languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, and C, following best practices in software engineering.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews using version control tools like GitHub, Git, and SVN.
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS and Azure platforms to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Support database management activities involving MySQL and SQL Server, including writing queries and maintaining data integrity.
- Contribute to Linux-based application deployment environments and support system administration tasks as needed.
Requirements
- completed or completing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks including Ruby on Rails and React Express.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, C++, C, VBA, and .NET technologies.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs for integrating diverse software systems.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and version control systems like GitHub, Git, and SVN.
- Understanding of database systems including MySQL and SQL Server; ability to write queries and manage data effectively.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments; basic system administration skills are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; eager to learn new technologies like quantum engineering concepts is advantageous.
