Role summary
Akkodis is seeking a Senior Hybrid Cloud Automation/Test Engineer for a contract (W2) position in Chandler, AZ. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite per week. The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in a Hybrid Cloud engineering environment, with expertise in Python, UNIX/Shell scripting, Terraform (IaC), Selenium/Cypress, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD & Test Automation frameworks. Responsibilities include interpreting requirements, developing and executing test plans, and performing various types of testing including Web UI, API, and Database testing.

. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Python automation, UNIX/Shell scripting, Terraform (IaC), Selenium/Cypress, Containers (Docker/Kubernetes), Hybrid Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD & Test Automation frameworks.
Pay Range:
$60 -$62/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Summary:
• 8 -10+ years of relative experience within a Hybrid Cloud engineering environment
• Expert in Python and PowerShell/Unix scripting.
• Application Testing with Automation (Selenium).
• Experience / knowledge with containers.
• Experience with image testing.
• Hands on Tertiary (Terraform), IaaS, Policy as Code experience.
• Interpret functional requirements and designs to plan, develop, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans.
• Proficient in designing, developing, and executing test cases. Knowledge of Test Automation and tools.
• Experience with various testing methods (unit testing, smoke test, sanity testing, regression testing etc), on-premises based Private Cloud and Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud and agile CI/CD tools & processes.
• Proficient in test automation scripting Java Script test frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Applitools, Git/Bitbucket, Code Quality Scanning using SonarQube etc.
• Expertise in Web UI, API, and Database testing.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and adapt to changes in project scope and communicate / collaborate effectively with teammates and internal clients.
Primary Skill: Python
