Role summary
Akkodis is seeking a Contract Technical Product Manager/Product Owner to support Microsoft 365 within Employee Experience Technology. This hybrid role requires a strong engineering background with hands-on experience in M365, SCCM/MECM, packaging, and deployment. The successful candidate will act as a product owner for M365 services, possess technical depth beyond other PMs on the team, and have at least 10 years in IT and 7 years in product management or technical delivery. Key responsibilities include owning roadmaps, working with engineering on deployments, tracking metrics, and coordinating with governance bodies. Experience in financial services and regulated environments is preferred.

Technical Product Manager/Product Owner supporting Microsoft 365
Location:
Charlotte: NC/Kennesaw: GA/Jacksonville FL-hybrid – 3days week
Rate Range:
$53/hour to $55/hour on W2 ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

- Will act as product owner for specific Microsoft 365 services
- Much more technical than the three PMs already placed on this team
Technical Requirements
- Strong background in Microsoft 365 technologies
- Experience with SCCM or MECM
- Experience with software packaging and enterprise deployment
- Understanding of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and Office apps
- SQL and advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with JIRA and ITSM systems
Experience Profile
- 10 or more years in Information Technology
- 7 or more years in product management or technical delivery
- Experience in large, regulated environments preferred
- Proven experience working with engineering teams
- Ability to influence without authority
- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Comfortable operating in a structured, slow?approval environment
- Able to work across many teams and manage dependencies
- Strong problem solver with clear communication skills
- Data driven and comfortable with metrics, forecasting and reporting

Core Responsibilities
- Own roadmap and backlog for assigned Microsoft 365 services
- Work directly with engineering on deployment activities
- Support packaging, testing and release cycles
- Run pilots and proof of concepts
- Track adoption, usage and incident trends
- Prepare monthly service metrics and reporting
- Gather requirements and document feature priorities
- Coordinate with governance and CAB groups
- Present updates to leadership
- Work with vendor teams including Microsoft
