for a

with a client in
Morristown, NJ.
You will lead the end‑to‑end operations of advanced agentic and generative AI solutions, applying strong LLM engineering expertise to ensure reliable, optimized, and well‑governed AI agent performance.
Rate Range:
$60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AI Engineer - Agentic and Genertative AI job responsibilities include:
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of agentic and generative AI systems, including maintaining LLM/chatbot agents, refining routing patterns, and driving model retraining cycles.
- Provide L2/L3 production support with ML Engineering—triaging incidents, performing root‑cause analysis, and deploying fixes within established MLOps guardrails.
- Design and optimize prompts, agent policies, safety filters, and tool integrations while building robust evaluation frameworks (A/B tests, regression suites, HITL reviews).
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to source, curate, and govern training/evaluation datasets and operationalize data pipelines across SharePoint, Snowflake, and DataRobot.
- Implement and enhance RAG workflows, vector‑store integrations, and orchestration logic using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
- Build end‑to‑end generative and agentic AI workflows integrated with upstream APIs and downstream channels (web, mobile, voice/contact center), ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- 8–10 years overall engineering experience with 2+ years focused on building production‑grade AI/ML or agent‑based applications.
- Proven hands‑on expertise with LLM frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph/LlamaIndex), RAG architectures, vector stores, and state‑management techniques.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and delivering AI solutions in regulated Financial Services environments, including incident triage, risk‑aware design, and compliance‑aligned workflows.

Pay Details:
$60.00 to $64.00 per hour
