Rate Range:
$53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Device Automation Test Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Execute end‑to‑end testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, and browser‑based UI to validate system functionality.
- Develop, maintain, and run automated and manual test scenarios using Python, Java, and device automation frameworks such as XCUI.
- Investigate failures by analyzing logs, telemetry, and distributed system behavior to perform root‑cause triage across the full stack.
- Validate unreleased device features and server‑side platform changes to ensure stability and proper system integration.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams by providing detailed defect reports with reproducible steps and diagnostic data.
- Support the validation of cross‑system workflows and independently identify probable failure points before escalating issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in automation testing, device automation, and distributed system validation.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Python, Java, and device automation frameworks such as XCUI, with proven ability to analyze logs and debug issues across distributed systems.
- Demonstrated capability in validating end‑to‑end workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines, including familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), SQL, and technologies like Kafka and Spark.

Pay Details:
$53.00 to $56.00 per hour
