AI/ML Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a
AI/ML Engineer
for a
Contract
job with a client in
Plano, TX(Hybrid)
. Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Rate Range:
$63/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Overview:

Develop and deploy AI/ML models, LLM based solutions, and generative AI applications. Experience developing, deploying new MCP Servers.

• Build and refine prompts, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector search

• Design AI workflows using Azure OpenAI, AWS, GCP, Hugging Face, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, and related frameworks

• Integrate AI models into production systems via APIs, Python, and cloud services

• Partner with business teams to identify use cases and deliver measurable outcomes

• Ensure responsible AI, data privacy, and model governance best practices

Required Skills

• Hands on experience with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of machine learning, NLP, computer vision, and model evaluation

• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit learn

• Experience with RAG, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, Azure AI Search)

• Cloud expertise: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud AI services

• Understanding of MLOps, CI/CD for ML, and scalable model deployment

Desired skills

• Experience with Copilots, automation frameworks, and agentic AI

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, or API orchestration

• Ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly
