Mobile Test Automation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a
Mobile Test Automation Engineer
for
Contract (W2)
with a client in
Charlotte, NC - Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week)
. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a strong background in Mobile, Test Automation, Selenium, Appium, Perfecto, Copilot & Prompt and Java.

Pay Range:
$60 -$65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Summary:

Their primary responsibility is to the people they manage, ensuring they are developing through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Other key responsibilities may include developing a technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices.

Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize product requirements - enabling developers use Copilot & Prompt Engineering

• End-to-end testing of products to identify bugs and ensure new product functionality is working as expected

• Partner with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, UI/UX Designers, App Developers, product owners and clients in development of solution

• Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement - Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Technology, Sales, Client Education, Finance and Legal

• Identifies risks/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and controls used to resolve.

• Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase

• Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features

• Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes

• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams

Primary Skill- Perfecto - Mobile Automation, Performance and Monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Typically requires minimum of 10+ years of Industry experience.

• Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree is required

• UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java + Appium.

• Mobile Test Automation with Appium is a MUST

• Selenium Test NG

• Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of your products (Mobile Applications). This includes deep understanding of the Mobile Frameworks, technical aspects of each product and the underlying data used.

• Deep understanding of Copilot & Prompt Engineer is a Must

• 10+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer & 3+years of experience on AI Tools (copilot)

• Must have experience in one of the mobile automation tools and frameworks (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)

• Hands on experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
