You will develop ultra‑low‑latency DPDK packet pipelines and implement Kubernetes‑based edge services to ensure reliable, scalable deployments.
Rate Range:
$47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Edge Networking Software Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop high‑performance C/C++ components for production‑grade SD‑WAN edge platforms.
- Build and optimize DPDK-based packet processing pipelines for ultra‑low‑latency traffic handling.
- Implement and deploy containerized edge services using Kubernetes.
- Design observability, health monitoring, and self‑healing capabilities for large‑scale edge environments.
- Optimize CPU, memory, and networking paths for high‑throughput, low‑latency performance.
- Work with L2/L3 networking, DPI, QoE, and traffic classification technologies to deliver reliable edge services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–10 years of experience in C/C++ development on Linux and high‑performance networking systems.
- Strong hands‑on experience with DPDK packet processing and L2/L3 networking protocols.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and large‑scale edge service architectures.

Pay Details:
$47.00 to $49.00 per hour
