Data Analytics Engineer
Role summary
Alchemy is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to build and own the company's canonical data models in Snowflake, serving as the central source of truth for AI and decision-making. This role is critical for powering AI tooling and ensuring data integrity across Finance, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data Science. Responsibilities include designing efficient, scalable analytical data models, optimizing datasets for vendor AI tools, exploring MCP integrations for conversational data querying, and managing the dbt transformation layer with a focus on rigorous testing and validation. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of data engineering experience with strong SQL and Snowflake expertise, and a passion for data quality.

The Role
This role sits at the frontier of how AI consumes and acts on internal company data. You'll be the data layer for the entire company — a strategic partner to Finance, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Data Science — designing the clean, trusted datasets that power our AI tooling and ensuring every team can make decisions from a single source of truth. You'll explore how technologies like MCP can unlock self-serve AI data access across the org, and ensure that as we adopt new AI capabilities, our data is ready to meet them. The rest of the company's AI ambitions run through you.

Alchemy is committed to offering competitive compensation, including base salary as well as equity. Additionally, Alchemy offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited flexible time off.
The base salary range for this position is estimated to be between $200,000 - $240,000 annually. Please note this range reflects base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Your salary will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business needs.
