Role summary
AltaMed is seeking an IT Support Technician II to provide technical support for computer equipment and related services, including installation, operation, repair, and diagnosis. The role involves providing remote and desk-side technical user support, assisting with projects, and special requests. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with 2-4 years in computer support, troubleshooting, and repair is required. Preferred qualifications include A+ Certification and knowledge of EPIC Electronic Health Record system. A valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation are necessary for travel to remote facilities.

Job Overview
The IT Support Technician II performs a variety of technical support services related to the installation, operation, repair, and diagnosis of computer equipment and related services. Also provide technical user support assistance, both remote and at the desk side. Assists with projects and special requests as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science, along with 2-4 years of experience in computer support, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Certified as an “A+ Certified Technician” preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License, automobile, and auto insurance for traveling to remote facilities.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record system knowledge preferred.
Compensation
$30.23 - $37.79 hourly
