Role summary

Amazech Solutions is seeking a full-time, direct-hire SQL Server Data Engineer for a hybrid role in Dallas, TX, or Albuquerque, NM. The position involves developing and optimizing SQL Server databases, designing SSRS reports, and partnering with finance teams on budgeting and forecasting. Key responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance, translating business needs into technical solutions, and troubleshooting data/reporting issues. The role requires strong SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning), SSRS, data modeling, large database experience, and financial systems knowledge. Nice-to-haves include OLAP/cubes and ETL tools like SSIS or ADF. This is a business-facing role with direct client exposure and high impact in finance and reporting.

We are hiring a
SQL Server Data Engineer
with strong SSRS expertise and a consulting mindset to support data infrastructure, reporting, and budgeting processes.

📍 Location: Dallas, TX OR Albuquerque, NM (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

⏳ Full Time, Direct Hire

💰 Rate: Up to $60/hr

🚀 Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and stored procedures
Design and deploy reports using SSRS
Partner with finance teams on budgeting and forecasting
Translate business needs into technical solutions
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance
Troubleshoot reporting/data issues
Document processes and support end users

✅ Required Skills:

Strong SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning)
Hands-on SSRS experience
Experience with budgeting/financial systems
Data modeling & large database experience
Strong communication & stakeholder interaction

⭐ Nice to Have:

OLAP / cubes
ETL tools (SSIS, ADF, etc.)
Fund accounting
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, reporting)
