Role summary
Amazon is seeking undergraduate students for a 12-week Program Manager Intern position during Summer 2026. Interns will collaborate with business teams to solve customer-impacting problems, develop forecasting and prediction approaches, and analyze data to identify opportunities. The role involves building relationships, influencing stakeholders across organizations, and formulating recommendations for process improvements. Interns will work 40 hours per week and must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027. Basic qualifications include being 18+, ability to relocate nationwide, and completing the internship. Preferred qualifications include a strong academic record, basic programming knowledge (Java, SQL, C++, Python), data-driven decision-making skills, and strong communication and organizational abilities.

Day in the Life
As a Program Manager, you will collaborate and partner with business teams to define and solve problems that impact customers, as well as identify predictors and causes of business-related problems to implement novel approaches related to forecasting and prediction. You will identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.
You will build relationships, identify stakeholders, and influence other teams across organizations and external teams while defining analytical approaches to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve processes.
Interns may be placed in a Fulfillment Center (FC) environment. Our recruiting team matches candidates with opportunities based on a variety of factors including business needs.

Basic Qualifications
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship between May through September
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a graduation conferral date between December 2026 and June 2027
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record.
- Basic understanding of modern programming concepts and languages such as Java, SQL, C++, or Python.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication with a keen focus on delivering business results.
- Demonstrated track record in using data and metrics to make decisions and build scalable solutions.
- Ability to influence across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to act strategically and make decisions under ambiguity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
