Sr. UX Designer, AWS Applied AI Solutions
Role summary
Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer to define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices. This role involves defining key performance metrics, driving modeling efforts for system performance prediction, and conducting gap analysis for optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware, and software. The position requires extensive experience in communication theory, wireless architecture, RF engineering, and various wireless protocols like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and more. Proficiency in scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python/MatLab is also necessary. Experience with Scrum and UX design for complex workflows is preferred.

The Role
As a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, you will:
- Define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices
- Define key performance metric and drive modeling efforts to predict end-to-end system performance
- Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware and software.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in communication theory, OFDM, MIMO, Digital/Wireless Communication Systems or RF engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ Experience in Wireless Architecture or Systems
- 7+ years of experience in Wireless/RF
- Experience in Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee/WAN/GPS/UWB or NFC
- Strong knowledge in PHY/MAC
- Experience with scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python/MatLab, and etc.
