In this role, you'll drive product strategy and initiatives for a dedicated area within our Alexa Productivity Essentials team focused on driving engaging, high-traffic productivity scenarios for millions of customers worldwide. You’ll work with CX, science and engineering partners to build our next phase in making Alexa the world’s best personal assistant. Key job responsibilities
- Drive the architectural and platform vision for the product space
- Own the roadmap and translate customer requirement into technical specifications
- Collaborate closely with developers and engineering managers to drive and prioritize the roadmaps and make technical decisions and tradeoffs connected to your product space
- Recognize and scope new customer opportunities, translating customer needs into business and system requirements
- Drive project schedules from design to launch
- Make the right trade-offs to optimize time-to-market
- Clearly communicate goals, metrics, roles, and responsibilities to internal and external stakeholders
- Work with senior leaders within Alexa and throughout Amazon
A day in the life
You will own part of the Alexa Productivity Essentials initiative, defining the vision, strategy, product and tech roadmap across experiences loved and used by millions of customers. You will work closely with science, design, research and engineering partners to craft experiences to help customers more seamlessly get more done, and translate that vision into a product roadmap. You will also partner with product teams across Alexa to define how our experiences leverage new innovations in generative AI to help customers accomplish their goals. This is a “Think Big” role where you get to craft the vision and strategy for how customers experience our features across a range of Alexa touch-points.

We’re a collaborative team that works closely together, fostering a creative and fun dynamic. We build Alexa experiences that customers connect with on a daily basis, connecting to the essential services that become part of their daily rhythm. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong product background with a penchant for cross-team collaboration across business, technical, and design counterparts. They will have deep technical skills and customer centric mindset with a history of launching notable products.
## BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
## PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with developing machine learning and natural language processing products

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
