Role summary

The Senior Data Engineer (OKC LOCAL) is responsible for executing the creation, development, documentation, testing, and implementation of advanced database solutions and ETL processes. This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, planning and implementing business projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key duties include performing advanced data maintenance and administration, troubleshooting data issues, supporting business operations through monitoring and maintenance of ETL and database processes, executing data cleansing activities, and contributing to data architecture documentation and data quality efforts. Candidates must be local to Oklahoma City (OKC).

Job Description

  • \* Executes the creation, development, documentation, testing, implementation of advanced database solutions and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes while following best practices and improving processes across teams.
  • \* Translates business requirements into technical solutions, as well as the planning and implementation of business projects while collaborating with other technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • \* Performs advanced data maintenance and administration tasks including research, identification, and coordinating the resolution of data issues.

  • Drives the development and testing of technical solutions to support organizational objectives while working with cross-functional team. 45%
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other technical resources to define project plans, refine requirements, understand organization data needs. 15%
  • Support business operations by monitoring, alerting, maintaining and troubleshooting existing ETL and database processes. 15%
  • Executes data cleansing activities such as removing duplicates, correcting errors, adding missing values, standardizing data and removing outliers. 15%
  • Help maintain, improve, and advance data architecture documentation and data quality efforts. 10%
