Senior IT Engineer
Role summary
Amplitude is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to own and evolve their IT automation platform, primarily using Okta Workflows. This role involves designing and delivering scalable automations for onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and compliance. Key responsibilities include full Okta configuration, SAML/OIDC federation engineering, macOS device management via Kandji, and administration of Google Workspace. The engineer will also champion AI adoption in IT operations, build AI-powered automations, and support SOC 2 compliance and access reviews. The position requires 5-8+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, with strong depth in at least three core areas like Okta, federation, endpoint management, Google Workspace, automation, or compliance. Proficiency in Python or Bash and active use of AI tools are essential. The role emphasizes autonomy, ownership, and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado: Colorado range: $98,000 - $147,000 base salary (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals will work for Amplitude in New York City: New York City salary range:$110,000 - $165,000 base salary (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude California: California salary range: $110,000 - $165,000 base salary (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state: Washington salary range: $98,000 - $147,000base salary (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
