Role summary

Ampstek is seeking a long-term contract SDET with 7-12 years of experience. The role is 100% remote and focuses on automation strategy planning, framework development using Robot Framework, Python, Selenium API, and Database integration. Responsibilities include identifying test cases, designing reusable test suites, executing scripts, analyzing results, and generating detailed reports for stakeholders. Proficiency in API testing with JMeter and database validation is required, along with experience in automation frameworks like Hybrid, Data Driven, and Page Object Model. Understanding of Agile methodologies and cloud platforms like Azure are preferred.

Position: SDET (Selenium + Python+ Robot Framework + Jmeter)

Location - Markham Ontario but 100% remote

Duration: Long Term Contract

Year of experience – 7-12 years

Job Description:

Automation Strategy Planning

Define and implement automation strategies using Robot Framework

Identify test cases suitable for automation and prioritize based on ROI

Framework Development

Design and maintain scalable reusable Robot Framework test suites

Integrate libraries eg Selenium API Database for end-to-end automation

Execution Reporting

Execute automated test scripts and analyse results

Generate detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholders

Prepare detailed automation reports and communicate results to stakeholders

Primary Skills

Strong expertise in Robot Framework keywords libraries custom keywords

Proficiency in Python for custom keyword development

Handson experience with API testing preferably JMeter and Database validation

Experience with automation frameworks Hybrid Data Driven Page Object Model

Secondary Skills

Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams

Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms Azure etc
