Role summary

This is a contract role for an Azure DevOps Engineer in Toronto, Canada, requiring a hybrid work model. The engineer will leverage 8+ years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, with strong expertise in Azure DevOps services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts). Key responsibilities include working with Microsoft Azure services (VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking, Azure AD, RBAC), implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform, and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and experience in both Linux and Windows environments are essential. Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies is also required.

DevOps JD:

8+ years of hands on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering

Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services:

Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers)

Azure AD & RBAC

Experience with IaC tools: ARM, Bicep, Terraform
