Role summary

Seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer with 8+ years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, specifically within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The role requires strong expertise in Azure DevOps services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts) and a solid understanding of Azure services like VMs, App Services, Storage, Azure Networking, Azure AD, and RBAC. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS), and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is essential. Experience with both Linux and Windows environments, along with knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies, is also required. This is a contract position based in Toronto, Canada.

JD:

• 8+ years of hands on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering

• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts)

• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services:

• VMs, App Services, Storage

• Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers)

• Azure AD & RBAC

• Experience with IaC tools: ARM, Bicep, Terraform

• Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)

• Strong scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, or Python

• Experience in Linux and Windows environments

• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
