Role summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) for a 12+ month contract role. The primary focus will be on planning and implementing automation strategies using Robot Framework, Python, Selenium, JMeter, and database validation. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining test suites, integrating libraries, executing scripts, analyzing results, and generating detailed reports for stakeholders. Experience with automation frameworks like Hybrid, Data Driven, and Page Object Model is essential. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud platforms like Azure is preferred.

Role: SDET (Selenium + Python+ Robot Framework + Jmeter)

Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada(Remote)

Job Type: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

• Automation Strategy Planning

• Define and implement automation strategies using Robot Framework

• Identify test cases suitable for automation and prioritize based on ROI

• Framework Development

• Design and maintain scalable reusable Robot Framework test suites

• Integrate libraries eg Selenium API Database for end-to-end automation

• Execution Reporting

• Execute automated test scripts and analyse results

• Generate detailed test reports and metrics for stakeholders

• Prepare detailed automation reports and communicate results to stakeholders

• Primary Skills

• Strong expertise in Robot Framework keywords libraries custom keywords

• Proficiency in Python for custom keyword development

• Handson experience with API testing preferably JMeter and Database validation

• Experience with automation frameworks Hybrid Data Driven Page Object Model

• Secondary Skills

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams

• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms Azure etc
