Role summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in Ab Initio for ETL projects. The ideal candidate will be an Ab Initio Technical Expert with strong problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. This role requires proficiency in SQL, Stored Procedures, and creating Marts/Views in Oracle, along with a solid understanding of ETL concepts from source to report. Experience in highly matrixed organizations and excellent communication/presentation abilities are also essential.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience with Ab Initio in ETL projects

• Expertise as an Ab Initio Technical Expert

• Strong problem-solving skills: Able to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement timely, effective solutions

• Experience managing problems needing collaboration

• Skilled at evaluating risks and alternative solutions before acting

• Resource optimization and alignment with business objectives and procedures

• Solid knowledge of ETL processes from source to report

Skills

• Proficient in writing SQL, Stored Procedures, and creating Marts/Views in Oracle

• In-depth understanding of ETL concepts and hands-on expertise with Ab Initio (basic to advanced)

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Experience in highly matrixed organizations

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
