Role summary

This 12+ month contract role is for a Product Leader in Canada, operating in a hybrid work model. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in product management or leadership within complex organizations. The Product Leader will be responsible for defining product strategy, prioritizing features, and driving roadmap execution for digital and technology products. Key responsibilities include utilizing prioritization frameworks, managing roadmaps with platforms like Aha!, applying human-centered design, and designing/operationalizing AI models or agentic workflows. A strong data-driven approach and experience partnering with IT/engineering leadership are essential. The role also involves mentoring Technical Product Owners and strong executive communication.

Job Description:

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in product management or product leadership roles within complex, matrixed organizations.

• Proven track record of defining product strategy, prioritizing features, and driving roadmap execution for digital and technology-enabled products.

• Strong expertise in prioritization frameworks such as MoSCoW, WSJF, and other value-based decision-making models.

• Hands-on experience building and managing product roadmaps using tools like Aha! or similar product management platforms.

• Deep understanding and application of human-centered design principles, with close collaboration alongside UX/UI and research teams.

• Experience in designing, building, or operationalizing AI models, AI agents, or agentic workflows within enterprise or production environments.

• Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage metrics and insights to guide product decisions and measure success.

• Demonstrated experience partnering with IT and engineering leadership to deliver scalable, complex technology solutions.

• Proven leadership in mentoring and guiding Technical Product Owners to ensure alignment with product strategy and execution.

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
